Organization registration information:

1. - Each attending organization needs to have at least one executive staff or board member who is also a member of Boston Singers Resource in order to participate in BSR Annual Auditions ($35/year ). Current members should check their profile for their membership expiration date. Anyone may become a member of BSR at any time via the Online or Print/mail registration links above.

2. - Attending organizations and organization leaders do not need to be New England residents.

3. - Each organization must pre-register with Boston Singers Resource (Deadline is September 15 for inclusion in the printed program).

4. - There is, a $40 audition fee in addition to the $35 BSR membership fee (an executive staff member of the company must be a BSR member in order to participate in these auditions.) Fees may be paid via the Online or Print/mail registration links above.

5. - The audition day will include water and snacks, Singer/Accompanist Auditions every five minutes, a headshot/resume book, and a program of participating organizations.

6. - Information about the performers: This is a BSR Select Audition for New England resident solo classical singers. Performers have been pre-selected for participation by an adjudication team of community musical leaders. Singers are given 5 minutes to present themselves in whatever way they feel is best. Excerpts of pieces are allowed. This will be strictly timed. Literature performed will be from the standard opera, oratorio repertoire. All communications, negotiations and call-backs following the BSR audition take place directly between the performers and the organizations.

7. - Each organization should be present for all of the singer auditions. If an individual auditor cannot attend for the entire day, please kindly provide a second representative to hear all of the singers.

8. - Each organization may send two representatives.

9. - There will be 10 minute breaks each hour.
